Up-to-date information!

This month's featured skater is the freshly rotted Killah Dees! She joined GSRD last summer and has set the bar for determination. Off to a rough start this season after being sick during tryouts, Killah is hitting her stride (and a few jammers) with the league rallied around her. We are incredibly proud to have her on the track with us, or on the bench telling us what's what. Killah is a solid blocker, as well as a jam coach. Killah is loud, strong and knows her stuff. Her bold voice rings out, giving the pack and jammers guidance. She is able to command authority, as well as allow herself to be lead by more experienced skaters; there is no ego in her coaching. As the next round of tryouts near, we look forward to skating with her on the track, but will miss having her voice providing insight amidst the chaos. We will also miss her angry dance that can lighten a tense moment. Killah Dees demonstrates all that is good about derby, she works hard and stays positive through the good, the bad and the ugly to come out stronger on the other side. We know we will see fantastic things from Killah in the coming months and are excited to see what the buxom blocker will bust out!
